Product Specs - Leather Jerk Tab

Our jerk tabs are an easy way to maintain control of your dog when they are off leash. Designed for ease and convenience, these leashes enable you to grab your dog or give a correction without having to use a full length leash.

Many people attach the jerk tab to the prong collar for a quick correction. The leather jerk tab is 8" Long from end to end. This product can be seen in photo #3.

Hardware

• All bolt snaps are coated black
• We hand braid the snap onto the leash instead of stitching because we feel it is safer and stronger
• Thread can deteriorate due to wear and sun, but the braid is strong and will not fail
• You can also upgrade to a Frog snap 
• 3/8" bolt snap is not compatible with this jerk tabs
• NOTE: Medium and Small Dog Snaps Will Not fit 1.5" and 1.75" Tac 2 Buckle D-Rings

• High-quality leather tanned for extreme conditions
• Not affected by water, sun, or sand
• Safer than others on the market because the durability of the leather is not affected by extreme working conditions
• Does not need to be conditioned to keep it from drying out and it will not get "gummy" when wet

Our 5/8" wide leather grab tab is perfect for control in high traffic areas. Designed to easily keep your dog close to you.

What is the difference between the different leather tab options?

A Jerk tab is an easy-to-handle tab featuring a knot for grip while the grab tab has an O-ring for lead attachment. Unlike the jerk tab or grab tab, the leather tab features a handle.
